Is there anybody there ?
Remembering to update blogs, web pages, X, facebook, Goodreads and even the Amazon book details does get tedious at times.
I am currently at 33000 words of my new book. Around half way there !
Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it, does anyone read this stuff, does anyone read my books?
The occasional Hi and review means a lot to an author, probably more than the sale of books.
I love to watch page reads increase too, is that one person who read the whole book or 300 people reading just one page ?
Some days with just two page reads I wonder what happened to the reader, did they get bored ? Did they get busy ? Did something better come along and they put my book on hold ? When the reads pick up again, is it someone new or is it the same person who came back ?
As an accidental author I can tell you, I appreciate you, whether you buy the books or read them, I appreciate you
