Hello and welcome  Come in, sit down , have a cuppa tea ☕️  Here you will find information and links about my books, updates and reviews I will make separate pages for each of my books to make navigation easy but this is to introduce you to each of my books  My first Autobiography/ memoir  “Fact or Fiction”  is the story of my life up until retiring from nursing, there are ups and downs but *spoiler alert*  it has a happy ending 💕 My second memoir “ From Toy Nurse to Cannon Fodder” follows my nursing career from my first day in nursing school , through many areas of nursing , working through the covid pandemic to my early retirement in 2021  I have also written two photo story books for toddlers.  “When Belle Went Blind” is about my dog going blind and how we overcame the hurdles.it is a book of rhymes and pictures perfect for preschoolers and dog lovers. “Fun with Belle and Riley is a follow on picture book with the same theme of short rhymes an...

Is there anybody there ?

 Remembering to update blogs, web pages, X, facebook, Goodreads and even the Amazon book details does get tedious at times. I am currently at 33000 words of my new book. Around half way there ! Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it, does anyone read this stuff, does anyone read my books? The occasional Hi and review means a lot to an author, probably more than the sale of books. I love to watch page reads increase too, is that one person who read the whole book or 300 people reading just one page ? Some days with just two page reads I wonder what happened to the reader, did they get bored ? Did they get busy ? Did something better come along and they put my book on hold ? When the reads pick up again, is it someone new or is it the same person who came back ? As an accidental author I can tell you, I appreciate you, whether you buy the books or read them, I appreciate you My review of you  Thankyou 💕

New Book in the pipeline

 So after chatting to my readers I have been persuaded to write another book based on my nursing but more of a storyline, a ‘faction’ if you like 🤔 The book is based on my time in Accident and emergency, using many real scenarios but changing names and some circumstances to protect patients ( and others)  confidentiality. I am currently 8000 words in so only another 52,000ish to go lol Writing in a slightly different genre has been a challenge but I am enjoying the process and hope that you like the finished book Thankyou for your support so far, I have been blown away by your support and feedback 💕
